Online poker has become world acclaimed as of late, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back quite a bit farther than its TV scores. Over the years many variants on the first poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to chemin de fer than traditional poker, in that the players wager against the casino rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is no conniving or other kinds of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up before the croupier broadcasting "No further bets." At that moment, both you and the casino and of course every one of the different players acquire five cards each. Once you have observed your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you have to in turn make a call wager or accede. The call wager’s amount is equal to your original bet, meaning that the stakes will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your bet goes instantaneously to the dealer. After the bet comes the face off. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, with a figure in accordance with the ante. If the casino has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand defeats the bank’s hand. The house pays chips even with your bet and fixed expectations on your call bet. These expectations are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
