At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course every one of the other gamblers are given five cards. After you have observed your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you need to in turn make a call wager or surrender. The call bet’s amount is akin to your original bet, indicating that the risks will have doubled. Bowing out means that your ante goes immediately to the dealer. After the bet is the face off. If the house doesn’t have ace/king or better, your bet is returned, including a sum in accordance with the ante. If the casino does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The house pony’s up chips equal to your initial bet and fixed odds on your call bet. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- 3-1 for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
