Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient ancestry. Founded on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the east with the west in an awesome game for new players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player against the dealer, not like nearly all other poker games that players wager against other players. By betting against the dealer, new players don’t have to worry about any other, more advanced gamblers taking their mulla.

An additional Pai Gow advantage is the generally slow game pace, novices should be able to take their time and strategize while not having to make quick selections.

It is also easier to wager on for a long time with basically a little amount of money seeing as, to not win, both of your hands has to be under each of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card basic deck and one joker. The gambler is given 7 cards faces showing and the casino is dealt 7 cards face down.

A 5 card hand and one 2 card hand must be put together from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand must be better than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be larger than the dealer’s.
