Poker has become globally celebrated lately, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, arcs back in reality a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years many variations on the original poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to vingt-et-un than old guard poker, in that the gamblers bet against the bank instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little conniving or different kinds of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up just before the dealer declares "No further bets." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course every one of the different players acquire 5 cards each. After you have observed your hand and the dealer’s first card, you must either make a call wager or accede. The call bet’s amount is equal to your original bet, which means that the stakes will have doubled. Surrendering means that your ante goes directly to the casino. After the bet is the face off. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, with a figure in accordance with the ante. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The dealer pays out money even with your ante and fixed odds on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • three to one for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
